What age level is your guild? Most of our guildmembers are in their middle to late twenties and upwards. We only recruit players that are 18 years of age or older as well. We strive to keep a fun but mature sense about our guild.
What server do you play on?There and Lost Again is an Alliance guild residing on Darkspear (PVP), a US-Mountain Time Zone server.
PvP Server?? What if I don't want to PVP? We're not necessarily your standard PVP guild. We enjoy the occassional PVP fights but aren't hell bent on constant PVP battles. 80% of our focus revolves around questing, exploration, trades, and the such. Our focus is group/teamplay. PVP we feel adds to the atmosphere, giving our experience more of a dangerous edge than Normal servers. You won't be required to PVP or engage in raids by joining our guild but if you're against PVP, we recommend you join a PVE server and accompanying PVE guild instead.
What kind of name is There and Lost Again? Are you all artists or something? It's deep, deeper than you can even understand. So deep, we lost it.
Do you require naming conventions? Certain races/classes/trades? No. We're an Alliance guild first and foremost, past that, you're allowed to be whatever class/race that falls within the Alliance sect. There are classes we have several of and those we're low on. If you're interested in that list, contact one of our guildmembers and they'll be happy to relay such information. We do ask that naming conventions not be offensive or degrading however. We work to be a "mature" (at least in naming) guild.
What sort of guild are you? We as a guild, are mainly concentrated on group activities, whatever that may be within the context of World of Warcraft. We're not specified really past that. As a guild, we've got quite a mix of different playstyles. Everyting from casual gamers, to powergamers, to quest-fanatics, to item/gold collectors. We're not focused on much more than staying a cohesive guild that interacts well with one another and is stronger when together than when solo. We urge our members to help other members to level, afford training/equip, quest, collect and anything else. Members first, then power we feel. If you're looking for a powerleveling, mega-loot guild, we're not the ones for you. We're laid back moreso than anything. We're out for a fun time, not a rat race persay.
What about benefits? We're not a rich guild, not a poor guild. We help one another out as much as we can but regrettably, we're not to the point where we can lavish newcomers with the best of the best the second they put on our tabard. Outside material items, we believe strongly that as a guild, we provide a group of people that you can count on as long as we can count on you. Very team based as I've said.
What about rules? We've got a few rules, those of which you can find
here. Mainly though, we're honorable in our play style, we detest griefing/cheating and aren't out to ruin others gameplay. If you can abide by those simple rules, you'll be fine.
Great, I lack options, how do I sign up?Well, first off, find one of our recruiters online or contact them over our forums. You can find their main character/forum names
here. We recruit based on what these recruiters say so if you can impress/have impressed them, they'll send you on your way towards membership. We believe in speeding the process up but keeping it quality as well. If we don't think you're a match, we'll let you know right away instead of stringing you along. Because of this, we ask that if you're willing to try and join, you have thick skin enough to face what a recruiter might tell you. However, if you can stick to our simple rules, play honorably and don't see a guild as a free-meal ticket, you should be alright
The process takes a minimum of a week, a maximum of three (depending on availability, interaction). We only recruit as many players as we have available recruiters. Once a recruiter has selected you for the process, they'll act as your mentor, he/she will be your source for any questions you have, including introducing you to the guild, getting you on the forums, giving you the Teamspeak info and the such. After a weeks minimum at least, we'll decide on your membership status. If we think you are a fit, you'll be included in the guild, if not, we'll either set you on your way or give you 2 more weeks to let us get to know you better, depending on how we as a guild feel you fit with our ideals/group. Don't worry, we're not an elitist squad of gaming snobs. We're easy going, so as long as you're not annoying and evil, just be yourself and don't go out of your way to immitate what you think will impress us. We reserve the right to boot people if they fake their way through the recruiting process and later turn into a jackass.
